Kokopelli Rafting Adventures, Santa Fe

We took our Scout Troop rafting with Kokopelli last summer. It was during our Epic Western Adventure, 3700 miles in 9 days. Most of our Troop had made Eagle and we were looking for something other than Summer Camp to keep the boys Scouting. Kokopelli was awesome, the boys were ready to go again when we got off the river, even though there was a short class V portion, they felt confident. The guides we had for the trip were great, gave good concise safety and rafting instructions before we hit the river, and had great attitudes. Would definitely recommend booking a trip with Kokopelli for a Scout Troop with older Scouts to keep them Scouting. If we make it out that way again, we will book the Taos Box full day trip.

We had SO MUCH FUN rafting with Abelino! Not only was he super passionate about rafting, but he was very knowledgable about the history of New Mexico and the section of the Rio Grande that we rafted down. He was a great crew chief and managed to keep four out of shape land lubbers on the raft. We even got to do a Splat! We made memories we will never forget as a family, what more could we ask for? We highly recommend Kokopelli rafting AND hope you get to hang out with Abelino.

We first rafted with Kokopelli in the summer of 2015 on the Pilar Racecourse and had a truly awesome experience! We couldn't wait for our daughter to be old enough so that we could take her on the Rio Grande float. This summer, now that she is 5, we made it happen! The water was lower than usual, but it didn't detract from the experience--she absolutely loved it! She kept asking when she could paddle, and as soon as the float was over, she was ready to do it again. Our guides, David and Billy, were super friendly and informative, too--even taking pictures of us! Definitely an experience that we will look forward to repeating with Kokopelli!

Took a bachelor party on a full day race course trip with these guys. They really went above and behind to make our day what we wanted it to be. We brought wireless speakers and since the water was slow spent half the time attacking the other boat (also in our group). Guides Isaac and Mirek were awesome. About our age so they had fun messing around with us and showing us how to best pull people off a raft.

We had an awesome time with our guide Anastasia and our kids could not have had a better time. The rapids were awesome and she kept us all in sync and working together; the kids absolutely loved her. Can't wait to head back again in the near future; we may even have Anastasia teach the kids how to snowboard in the off season! Can't recommend Kokopelli enough!
