Beautiful beach with plenty of things to do. There are volleyball areas, trail for walking, jogging and biking. Places to eat and hangout. Gets crowded even in the morning.

Santa Monica is definitely one of our favorites beaches! 😍 It has really has golden sands, there is a huge area to enjoy sports, beach games, relax, rest, have drinks or simply lay down and enjoy the sun! The beach is delicious, water temperature is just perfect (or at least it was in summer). The pier is beautiful and it has a great vibe and a lot of things to do and eat or drink 👍 There are many restaurant, bars and small stores in a huge side walk, perfect to ride bikes, rollerblades, or walk ;0)

The beach is very big and clean. There are so many things to do at the pier. Various kind of rides and local food shops at the pier makes it a happening place. We tried coffee and veggie burger at two nearby shops and though little crowded, they were worth the wait. Be sure to keep masks with you, entrance in the shops without mask is restricted. There are also bicycle rentals just after the public parking area at the beach. The parking is available from sunrise to sunset with 7$ fee. There are many sand volleyball courts too. We loved our time there and will visit it soon.

Nice clean beach. not a lot going on but nice for swimming on a hot day and catching a beautiful sunset.

It used to be a dumpster fire here when I was growing up and still is compared to other beaches in so cal but has gotten much better. The homeless issue is worse than anything you can imagine. City needs to get its act together on homelessness.
