Chumash Casino, Santa Ynez

Place is going through changes. I want to leave a positive review. Currently I have not seen much change for the better but I have noticed many others making the same complaints. I hope the pendulum is swinging the other direction. No free play for returning guests. Many Broken machines (slightly less than half). Favoritism of stimulus check receivers and organized crime (I'm not the only one to notice). I heard complaints of this audibly throughout the casino during the night. I feel like I have been considered undesirable there for a long time. Like they don't let me win on purpose. Winnings are rare. It's getting very tight. Maybe they aren't singling me out. I wore the shirts I bought at the casino in public where I Live. I have to say my days are full of dirty looks and enlightening experiences when I do so. The patronage of the casino does not reflect the population of the region. I could draw conclusions but like I said I want to leave a good review. I still do not have confidence to play slot machines I can't afford the loss rates. There might be some luck but you'll need to be comfortable losing $200 in 30 minutes if you're going to try for wins. The word on the street is don't go here for awhile. It's a Trap.

Such an awesome casino experience. We were first timers so we joined the players club and each got $25 free play which is pretty much unheard of these days. We had a good time and actually won $100! Oh and… LOOK at the desserts in the coffee shop in the casino!! We didn’t taste them but… pure art!!

This Casino Resort is top-notch. However, it does not have a SPORTS BOOK LOUNGE. Big miss! We wanted to watch the NFL football game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys. We arrived at the parking lot in good shape. Access to the casino is directly from the attached parking garage. The Center Bar is a great location in the casino for cocktails, sports TV, and people watching. However, the seating was not comfortable while watching a 3 hour football game. Their website is not great for finding your way around if you have been there for the first time. However, as you walk through the parking entrance to the casino, you immediately see public restrooms and the small Grains and Grounds shop for food, gifts and drinks. As you walk down the corridor about 1,000 feet, you enter the main casino slot machine room and the lobby Center Bar is on the left. More food court and fine dining options are on your right.

We went for our anniversary/ birthdays. We were there on my husband's birthday. We got an upgrade to a suite. What a beautiful room! Beautiful views as well. The casino is small, but fun the slots aren't as tight as in Vegas. I first went back in 2001 so it's changed A LOT. We look forward to coming back!
