We booked our guided kayaking tour a few months in advance with Rich from Adirondack Lakes &Trails. We requested a smooth water experience. BEAUTIFUL! Easy to accommodate a time change due to rain, perfect afternoon. The bagged lunch was delicious from the nearby deli which we included with our excursion. Rich was great! Would recommend for sure. Great gear/rentals, perfect location, extra friendly staff- what more can you ask for. We’ve rented canoes for camping at Saranac Island Campground, and it’s incredibly easy and convenient. Staff always goes the extra mile to make sure your trip will be great. Couldn’t recommend more!

I showed up with my dog (who has never been canoeing before) and they were so friendly and patient. They even let me practice getting in the canoe with my pup so that when it was time to get in the water he was calmer. I can't say enough nice things. Super sweet people working here 1000% would come back! Thank you guys for a great day!

ALTO is amazing. The staff was super accommodating for the portage trip we took. They were even able to help us transport the canoe with our little car!!
