Great Wolf Lodge Waterpark, Scotrun

The place is great for the kids and we had a lot of fun. I was hoping to get a wolf theme room but that's okay. The corridor between the rooms is beautiful. The staff is helpful and friendly. I advise those coming to buy water bottles because they are not found in the rooms. For those who forget about swimwear like what happened to me: There is a special swimwear store. The bathrooms were spacious and had rooms for changing and also for showering "bring a small shampoo with you". The food is delicious and the price is okay. There are also restaurants outside the water park, but we spent the whole day playing in and when it closed we went to the fun electronic games “you can get a lot of tickets to take simple gifts for your children to enjoy” .. As for the water, remember that it is not summer, of course it will be cold, so enjoy your time. And last but not least, thanks to the staff for their efforts to serve us and make us happy

The hotel itself is nice. They manage to pull off the rustic look and. The rooms are nice but sparsely furnished. We had a kid cabin room and the kids loved having their own area with their own TV even though we didn't spend much time in the room except to sleep. This is a place for kids and as long as you're not expecting anything like the Beverly Hills Hylton you won't be disappointed. The food selection is pretty basic and pretty much everything on site shuts down between 8-10pm so there's no night life to speak of on premises. The water park itself is very nice and well maintained. It's clean and there's lots of lifeguards around watching the kids and maintaining order. The kids absolutely loved it and we had to pry them out of the water every day. In all I'd say that our experience was great with the exception of the last night when we had people over us that were just plain ignorant letting what sounded like a couple of big kids run around and jump off the beds. This went on until I finally went down to the front desk at 1:30am (no short walk from our room) I had called down at 12.30am to no avail but after going down it stopped around 1:45 but my wife was so mad she didn't get much sleep that night. In all I'll give it 4 stars because my kids had a great time and that's why we went

It was a great experience!! We were three adults and two kids and all enjoyed stay and water park. They have slides for all age group. My 16 month old , 5 year old and 80 year old mom all were able to enjoy slides Food is great! We loved pizza and price reasonable . Kids also enjoyed arcade and shows It was our second time and we had enjoyed!! Construction didn’t interfere with our fun

This place was great. The kids had fun all day! We did the magic quest, played mini golf, of course the water park. The food was good, the drinks were well priced for alcohol. The pizza shop was 🔥, the thin crust was on point. The only issue I had is they did not have a gym or fitness center. I did a walk down to the street off site and walked back up the hill. Went last week and had a great time. We were made aware that the resort is undergoing some major constructions at the time of booking. After carefully read the recent complaints and consulted with other families that recently went there, we decided to proceed with our booking. To be fair, we did get a pretty good discount which made the price a lot more attractive than the other water park resorts in the area. We called the hotel one day before checking in and asked to have a room further away from the construction site. We got room #4085, which was perfect. The room was big and clean and quiet (top floor, far away from elevator, relatively far away from construction site), and the had a scenic view balcony (facing the mountains and woods). Every single staff we interacted with was super nice and helpful. We will definitely go back again.
