Great hometown local bar! Especially like the Fluvanna Fluss be on tap. Have open mic on Thursdays that's really fun, and even more scheduled music in the spring and summer. Lots of games and a dart board too. Always come here when we visit fam in the area 🙌😄

Nice local brews, created on site. They even use local hops when they can get them. Prices are reasonable and you can imbibe indoors or out. Quick service with a smile and nice robust beers to fit any taste. Come down and hoist a few with the locals!

This brewery is a unexpected gem for this little river town I love. A great place to grab beers if you’re a local or a visitor - if you’re local, the mug club is the way to go. The bar staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, the space has been beautifully renovated, and they’ve got a rotating selection of brews that are consistent and on point. The beer garden is the best part: an outdoor bar, shaded space for relaxing and catching up with friends over beer, fire pits and a stage for live music. They also have a good selection of board games and a weekly trivia night. While JRB doesn’t have their own kitchen, many of the downtown restaurants will deliver to the brewery.

Their Extra Special Bitter is one of the best year round beers I’ve ever had. I love this place and I love their beer!
