Create an itinerary including Kerry Park
Head to Kerry Park for views of Seattle, complete with the Space Needle in the foreground of the city skyline. Watch ferries traversing Elliott Bay, see the twinkling city lights, or, on a clear day, spot Mt. Rainier in the distance. This panoramic scene is worth the uphill walk to the park, but the park itself is small and, therefore, typically only used as a place for taking postcard perfect photos and simply enjoying the view. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Seattle holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Kerry Park and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • We went here to check out the sculpture and it is a location of a pretty popular Mother Love Bone photo of Andy Wood. The view is amazing and would recommend a visit to get a nice view of Seattle...

  • It's just a small roadside overlook, instead of a park I would say. It only has a few benches and it's quite small. However, it has the best skyline to take pictures with Space Needle! You can see the Space Needle very clear from here and the view is really good. You can see downtown Seattle clearly. Recommend if you want to take some good photos of Space Needle! This park is free, easy to visit by bus.
  • One of the best skyline views of downtown Seattle! Depending on how clear the sky is, you can catch Mount Rainier in the background showing it's beautiful face. The weather can be moody so you might not get the full view but nonetheless... Still pretty impressive!
  • Kerry Park has some of my favorite views of Seattle! You can see Mount Rainier on a clear day from here. The views at night are absolutely breathtaking when you can see the entire city lit up as well. The Space Needle is absolutely mesmerizing and seeing it from up here is totally worth the trip. It's not far from downtown so I highly recommend the trek for this beautiful viewpoint!
  • Great views of the city and the Space Needle with Mount Rainier in the background! I wish it had been a clearer day out when I visited, however, it was still the best view I had during my visit to Seattle. I took public transportation from Pike Place Market area. It was cheap and easy, but like the rest of Seattle it had a weird blend of homelessness and rundown feeling immediately next to beauty, art and mansion-like houses. I thought I was in the ghetto and I turned the corner and saw a beautiful historic looking home! It's also a short walk from here to the Space Needle.
  • Fantastic views. Not far from the center of the city. I would need to be in top physical condition to walk it from city center so keep that in mind if you want to hike. A ride is most desirable if you ask me. Nice park for the views of Seattle and the port as well as several islands. A for sure place to visit.
