At 53 m (175 ft) tall, Seattle Great Wheel draws visitors to view the city. One ride takes you around the giant Ferris wheel three times, giving you ample opportunity to spot Mt. Rainier and Puget Sound in the distance, and to enjoy the sights below. Each gondola seats up to eight people, but each group receives a private gondola. One luxury gondola sports leather seats, a stereo system, and a glass floor for all-around views. I’ve been on many large wheels around the world, this was the smallest. Chose the VIP tix without knowing that we needed them. Very small gondolas. 2 of us needed the room and we aren’t big people...

We rode this at night. Only complaint is it was raining, so the views weren’t as great because of the water on the windows. Nothing no one can do about that. We were told we would go around three...

AMAZING VIEWS & CALMING EXPERIENCE. I was lucky enough to enjoy a space all to myself when I experienced the Seattle Great Wheel. Bough a beer that came in their souvenir cup (pricey). I liked sipping a beer while enjoying the view so it wasn't a big deal for me. The ride is slow enough to enjoy the view and fast enough to stay entertaining. The inside of the pods are very spacious and sturdy. This is a "manage your expectations" situation. I got exactly what I expected and enjoyed it. I gave it a four star because there wasn't anyone really at the ride when I was there and I felt the ride should have and could have been a bit longer.

Definitely worth the money and the line up. Most big cities have a Ferris wheel or a tower where you can see the city from.. Seattle has both. under $20 you can take few spins on this Ferris Wheel and check out some great views of the city. I just wish they opened early and be able to enjoy a morning coffee while on the wheel as its not as busy in the morning as it is at Night... however at night the atmosphere is spectacular with all the lights.

FINALLY took the Great Wheel. I have been walking by it for years and the $16 was well worth it. You get to go around 3 times total. They also serve margaritas and other drinks that you can take on the Great Wheel. The 360 views are pretty amazing. Would highly recommend making a stop by here and enjoying the Seattle views.

When in the area why not do The Seattle Great Wheel. The views are amazing, customer service is always good. They have a little stop before you board to get a drink non or alcoholic & snack which I thought was nice. You can purchase tickets online or at the booth once arrived. We went on a Monday at noon and there was no wait, we circled around 4 times with a stop at the top to enjoy the views which was nice. I like that you can enjoy views of the ferries as they come and go. Such a great spot in Seattle to enjoy!

Offers you the best views of the city and beyond on a good clear day. Best to book your tickets online to beat the queue. Also time your visit correctly to ensure your wait times are less. Especially on a busy summer day. Lovely staff, the photograph at the beginning of the ride is a tourist trap and avoidable. Tell them you prefer the entire family (of 4) in a single car and it's going to be memorable. Plan places you want to spot from that height in advance. Glance at the nearby islands and also try spotting a few active naval ships docked not too far away!
