West Fork Oak Creek Trail, Sedona

This is an awesome trail. Get here early as they start to let people park before 8am when they open. Only so many cars can fit. We got there before 8am and the first half of the parking lot was already full. Cost 11.00 for a car of four, if you have more than 4people in the car it's an additional 2.00 per person. There's different prices for bikes and other vehicles but can't remember off hand. But back to the trail. Nice gradual grade of ups and downs, you cross a little over 5 times over the creeks path over rocks and make shift bridges. There's many places to stop and play in the creek, climb rocks, and take in some good sites. The end of it has an open water way where you can venture in but be ready to get wet. You can camp about 2miles and 3/4 after that point as the sign tells you. Over all an amazing time to enjoy 4hours

This is a beautiful park! My friends and I went at the end of October and got to see vibrant foliage. The trail is a loop that is 6.5 miles long, in total, and took us about 4 hours to complete when we walked at a leisurely pace. There are multiple creek crossings so you can expect to get your feet wet. The park servicers will ask you for $2 in cash for each individual that walks into the park. Parking is competitive. We arrived at 8:40 AM and had to park up the road and walk quite a distance to get to the park.

We heard about this trail from a delightfully friendly local woman, and we couldn't have been more grateful for a path less traveled. West Fork crisscrossing Oak Creek 13 times throughout the canyon has absolutely stunning views. Pro tip. Get in early, park opens at 8a, earlier to get in, grab a parking space, leisurely 6.71 mile round-trip hike. It's an Arizona State Park, so it will cost you $11 for a vehicle. [July 2022 price]

One of my family's favorite hikes. The trail is mostly level and not too challenging. It is not a loop, so you can turn around whenever you want to be halfway done. Be prepared to cross the creek on stones and logs in a number of places. There are a few places where I've seen families with little kids stop and swim in the shallow creek along the way. If you go far enough, you can wade through the creek for a few additional miles at the end.

Went for the fall vibes, and they were immaculate. The hike was mostly level, and as such fairly easy. There are water crossings, so if you have waterproof shoes, bring them, but they are certainly not necessary. If you plan on parking at the trailhead, get there early. Otherwise you can walk in for $2 per person.
