  • I really wanted to see this place again. It’s closed down during Covid times fortunately. Years ago I took a tour it was amazing. Can’t wait until things are open again

  • The cave isn’t very big. It is well worth to take a visit. The staffs are nice. We have to walk down the mountain to the cave. We can hear and see waterfall.
  • Let me be perfectly clear, if you plan to go here- plan early and purchase your tickets before you leave your house. You CANNOT by tickets at the cave, nor can you purchase tickets at Sequoia National Park. Well worth the drive and the hike to the entrance. Word of advice, follow the rules or pay the price!
  • This place is amazing! If you go, do the Discovery Tour, especially if Kayla is leading it. There is a half mile hike down hill to get to the caves and another half mile up hill to get to your car. This is not handicapped accessible. The cave is pretty cool, temperature-wise, so bring a sweater even if it's Summer.
  • Tickets must be purchased at visitor centers. You can gets to the wait list if you don't have tickets. 45 minutes guided tour inside cave. Moderately steep hike coming back.
  • When we arrived in Sequoia, we had no idea it had a cave. A $30 registration for two people was all we needed to explore this beautiful natural wonder. We drove 45 minutes to the cave spot on the only road in and out, and arrived early for our guided 45 minute tour. Nae, our guide, did an excellent job relaying important history and connecting it to human impact on the environment. Beautiful tiny crystals littered the cave walls and the final chasm at the end was magnificent. Nae took a moment to let us feel what perfect darkness is like by turning off the cave lights-all the young kids on the tour were not happy, but the adults were calm enough to enjoy such a rare experience. Try to take the early bird tour, but give yourself a good hour from the visitor center to get there.
