  • Have hiked this falls several times over the years....the trail is nice with plenty of wildflowers to look at, maybe a little wildlife, before reaching the falls. The water flow wasn't that great...

  • This was my favorite hike in Shenandoah! We did the loop and it was super nice. Many nice spots along the way and beautiful cascades. We went on a rainy day so there were almost no people and the waterfall was gorgeous! We dipped our feet in the pool, water was super refreshing and quite deep so you can even swim there! Going back up was a bit challenging since its rocky and steep but it isnt too bad, overall its definitely and easy/moderate hike! Well worth it!
  • This is one of my favorite hikes in the central district of the Shenandoah National Park. You can do it as a 3.8 mi loop according to Alltrails, which is what we usually do. It starts off at skyline drive and drops down around 800 to 900 ft where you make a turn and begin your climb back up. The hike follows two streams nearly the entire way so it's absolutely beautiful. Tons of cascading falls along with one big one.
  • Great hike. We parked across the street and walked up the fire road and went left down the horse path. Follow the path right when it splits again (don't continue on horse trail) and you're on the right path! Falls are worth the hike. All uphill on the way out so be prepared for that.
  • Nice hike. The whole loop is about 4 miles. Remember to bring water and snacks.
  • Nice waterfall not too far from the Skyline Drive. Best viewed as part of the Rose River Falls Loop, which takes you along creeks/streams with a variety of smaller falls. The loop isn't difficult but it is long enough with varied enough terrain to make for a very enjoyable hike. Be careful on the wet rocks near the water's edge though, they are deceptively slippery
