A designated National Scenic Byway, Skyline Drive, runs 169 km (105 mi) along a mountain ridge and through valleys teeming with wildlife. Traverse it by car, by bicycle, or on horseback. There are over 70 spots where you can stop to snap photos and take in the views. Along the way, mileposts will guide you and help you locate points of interest. About halfway through, expect to see the largest developed area on the drive. You'll find campgrounds and hiking trails here. Remember, it's illegal to feed wildlife.
