  • Highly informative about the enormous variety of fun and interesting things to do and see. Fishing horseback trail rides, mountain biking, or just sightseeing.

  • Very nice museum with neat history of the area. Enjoyed talking to the staff, got some really good insight. Was a bit smaller than I thought it would be but enjoyable. Worth stopping by and the fee...

  • Actually saw the artist painting a bison as a mural at this museum. It is a must see when in Sheridan. The museum has exhibits telling the story of this part of the West

  • Small museum focused on the history of Sheridan. Displays are related to coal and other industries that were important to the area. Many of the displays required a lot of reading but there were 2 interesting dioramas; One of Sheridan when roads were not paved; Another of a coal mining town. Spent about 30 minutes. Cute gift shop.
  • It was a nice visit. The museum isn't large but has a decent range of displays. Many highlight individuals' stories to tell the story of the area, and there are many artifacts of everyday items of the household and workplace. The people working it were really nice. It also has a gift shop. I spent about an hour-and-a-half, but I tend to gawk at details and read everything. It won't take most people that long. There was PLENTY of parking too.
  • Great starting place for connecting with local history. Our area is rich in history, and the Sheridan County Museum is very conveniently located just West of I-90 exit #23. Plenty to see, and they will help you find more about what interests you.
  • What a great little museum! So much history shared in a a neat flow. The staff was awesome as well. Definitely worth the stop!
  • It has some great displays. Really enjoyed the dioramas. Very well done.
