Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, New York, is the final resting place of numerous famous figures, including Washington Irving, whose 1820 short story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" is set in the adjacent burying ground at the Old Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow. One of my absolute favorite places to visit especially in the fall. The views are absolutely beautiful and the history is so interesting! I’ve been multiple times and highly recommended!

Excellently maintained and beautiful historic cemetery. If you go during Fall it is pretty busy so I would highly recommend early morning. Early morning is the best chance for a visit without lots of people walking around and obstruction of your photos. Such a beautiful, peaceful place with gorgeous plots and mausoleums.

a beautiful and historic cemetery to visit any time of the year. the last time I visited was on Halloween. honestly I would say this would be the worst day to go because it was full of families and tourists taking Halloween pictures. but if you're looking for a nice stroll with some stunning old grave stones, this is a awesome place to stop.

Sleepy Hollow Cemetery is the most beautiful cemetery I've ever been to. The roads pretty rough but there's some picturesque areas. Just be careful as there's a lot of narrow turns going up the hill. The highlights definitely being able to see Washington Irvings Grave.

Well, a cemetery certainly isn't a place you'd leave a Google Review for, but this is different thanks to the history. If you own a larger car, you're better off walking to see the historic burials because the roads can get tight or unpaved. The very bottom has the Headless Horseman bridge that's over a lovely little creek, and it's great for photography. The entire town of Sleepy Hollow is lovely but this is the highlight. Bathrooms aren't always in service so you may have to use a portable one.

This has got to be one of the most beautiful cemeteries I've ever seen! You could spend an entire day here looking at the unique graves and appreciating the beauty of them. The Headless Horseman Bridge is also here..not the original but definitely a must see.
