    The museum was well organized, family friendly and full of interesting exhibits and information. It was great way to experience Smithfield's history.

    Very neat museum. It gas the oldest ham and peanut. The gentleman that was working the register was very informative and very nice. Well worth the price of $2.

    Very historical town that was involved with slavery and Smithfield hams. There are many unique shops along the way & the people are very friendly & welcoming!

    The place was very clean and the gift shop was small but cute. The coolest thing was the general store. The Lady at the front desk, was a sweetheart. And my good friend from south india just love the place. Thank you so much for working hard to keep places like this open.

    My tour guide, Mrs. Nancy was amazing!! I’d give 10 stars if I could! Will definitely be back. This museum is a must if you are in the area or planning to visit, entry is only $2 and Nancy was extremely informative and makes everything interesting! (She will also recommend the best cafés and shops!) Thank you!!

    Fabulous museum!! It covered a much broader spectrum of subjects than we expected. Everything about this museum was very well done; the artifacts, the presentation, the signs and interpretations and especially the tour by Mike! Mike has a wealth of knowledge and gave a very detailed and enthusiastic presentation!
