The Gated Sanctuary Centre for Healing, Snohomish

Fantastic atmosphere for relaxation and pampering. Was nervous about the clothing optional aspect but after a short tine got used to it and felt so relaxing and natural. Never have had anyone stare or be rude or creepy. Everyone has been been really nice and welcoming. Fantastic spot to get away for a few hours.

We schedule 4 messages and pedicures here a month in advance and called to confirm the week before. We drove an hour to get here. When we arrived they had 1 masseuse and no person to do pedicures. They were so rude and unprofessional about THEIR mistake. What was meant to be a relaxing day with our mom and sisters was completely ruined.

Let's talk about 2022 and put some relevant data on the map. Yes, this spa is beautiful, relaxing, and uniquely cozy with incredibly comfortable massage tables. There is a HUGE problem though. In 2021 the business was bought by new owners that took a safe space and introduced shame through enforcing heteronormative stereotypes to a men's only day that was highly celebrated by all colors of the rainbow. It was a unique event since every other exclusive spa was/is women only. Because they feared being seen as a bathhouse, they decided to alienate thier clients and employees and enforce their ideals on a community that begged them not to. I don't want to keep you from enjoying this place if it is everything you need, but please let the proprietors know that we are all proud to be who we are, no matter our interests.

I booked a couple massage and 12 minutes before we had An appointment they called to tell us our therapist was sick. Horrible work ethic, people Don’t suddenly get sick

Awesome place to unwind. Yummy snacks and lots of water. I have been here alone as well as with a friend and have felt extremely comfortable every time. My only wish, if I were allowed one, would be they were open longer on the weekends.
