Marcus Ashley Fine Art Gallery, South Lake Tahoe

We met a wonderful woman named Brenda who is a sales person in this gallery. I highly recommend her and the gallery. Brenda brought the art and the artists to life. It was one of my most treasured moments. I paint, certainly not on the caliber to be in a gallery but I know how to appreciate how much effort goes into the art. So many thank yous to this wonderful gallery and to Brenda.

My daughter and I stumbled upon this gallery after skiing and the whole experience became one of the highlights of our trip. Boyde was phenomenal in guiding us thru the gallery with his extensive and entertaining knowledge of each of the artist’s works. We were blown away with the stories behind “Dr Seuss” and really connected with a couple of his pieces. Now my daughter and I will have something to remember as such a surreal moment of our trip.

Definitively the best gallery if you want Seuss art — anywhere in the country! Whether you’re looking for new releases or pieces that have been unavailable for years... Marcus Ashley gets them!! And not just SEUSS...many other artists to boot too! Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff, roomy environment and great location. We have dealt with Robert for years and he is top-notch! Always looking out for the customer, and always able to help! We can’t wait to visit again!

Mary was extremely informative about the artists. She was great with the kids and even gave us the book "Horton Hears a Who". She was kind and answered every question the kids had and us adults as well. The gallery itself was well lit and clean. Sculptures and artwork were free of dust. The Dr. Suess portion was AMAZING! My kids ages are, 21, 13, 11, 8, 7, 6 and she kept them intrigued the whole time.
