  • Candy + toys and such. Sensory overload and a kid's favorite place to go! This most definitely is not a place we'd frequent on the usual if we were local. But a fun vacation stop to load up on candy and (one) trinket each. Overpriced but that's to be expected in a vacation area. Kids enjoyed the candy the most. My HP living girl got a chocolate frog and Ravenclaw jelly beans. There was even a golden snitch puzzle with candy inside! $25.
  • This report is written by a Southport local who has spent several thousand dollars in this store over the years. We have been to this store so much that the lady that works the register knows my sons name, where he goes to school, and she says how much he looks like her grandson. We went in here one day and bought a 10 dollar toy. The lady accidentally added an extra decimal when she was punching my total into the card machine and charged 110 bucks. I didn’t notice until the next day when it hit the bank account, so I went back up there to tell her what happened. The lady straight up went totally defensive and acted like I was trying to get over on her. My family literally visits this store almost every weekend and she acted like I was some total stranger that was trying to scam her. Anyways, I didn’t get the money back and decided it would be the last time we visit this store. You would think they would be more willing to work with someone who visits the store regularly since they portray this hometown atmosphere. But when you really get down to it, this place is just a tourist trap. Just look at the price of the items in the store. They are probably double or even triple on a lot of the items. We never cared about the prices because my son genuinely enjoyed going to this store, but we won’t be going back after the rude treatment.
  • I've always loved bullfrog corner, been going for 15 years. Today I took my daughter I'm and saw two ouija boards beside the kids toys! If you don't know what that is > it's a game where you can contact the dead. It's demonic and people have seen demons playing this wicked game. I told the sales girl they were bad news and she smiled at me. I will never go back.
  • Horrible for toddlers who overload and ENJOY candy shopping (fill buckets pick from the bucket to fill white bags, ages 1 and 3). We were asked "who is going to put this candy back? *Insert shocked face by owner* " $50!! In toy and candy, WE LEFT. WITHOUT. Do not take your kids to enjoy any of this place. They aren't welcomed to be kids.
  • This store is too small, too crammed and too LOUD. The blonde lady who works there was very rude when we met her as we were opening the door to the store and rambled off something about letting her out as she was putting signs outside a few mins past opening... No welcome from her or anything. My husband checked out and she was extremely unwelcoming and unfriendly. There is no reason for the woman to act the way she did. We all have bad days but it’s not a reason to take it out on a random person, especially since her tag said “owner” We have been to this store and spent good money but that is the last time. A smile and a hello how are you can take you far. Manners are import especially as a business owner. Do better.
