  • Way more interesting than I thought it would be! The guide was knowledgeable and willingly shared history of the canoes currently in the workroom. Well worth the time and donation!

  • Wonderful History of Different Canoes. Beautiful showroom of the past Canoes . Strong work ethic to the dedicated Volunteers.
  • What a beautiful museum, very intimate and up close! The docent was extremely knowledgeable and gave us some personal insight and showed us the restoration work shop! Highly encouraged a visit!
  • Enjoyed visit. There are several canoes nicely displayed and some historical notes, but I'd like to see more information such as length & weight of each canoe. I have the feeling it is still in process of being developed into a great museum. There is a $4 suggested entrance donation. This could be a deterrent for a family since one will probably only spend an hour. Bit it is a suggested donation & I think they probably would be happy to get a lesser donation from a family. We visited the workshop also, and there is some great restoration being done there. It is an unusual interesting place & I'd like to see it supported. Unfortunately the building is not winterized and will be closed after September for the winter.
  • This place is great! It's fairly small, but so much to look at. Tells the history of canoeing through story, pictures, and actual canoes. Friendly, knowledgeable people to show you around and ask questions if you have any.
  • It is interesting to see. Not the most exciting thing you will ever visit.
