Following Wright's design, the estate was completed in 1911 and served as his home for much of his adult life. The grounds and buildings embody Wright's visions, and this is the site where he conceived many of his projects and housed his collection of artwork. The estate is privately owned and accessible only during guided tours. You can choose from several different tours, including one-hour tours of the studio and theater to two-hour tours of the house and even lengthier ones of the entire estate. You can see the gardens, take in views from the cafe, and purchase everything from furniture to jewelry at the gift shop. We had a wonderful experience. My husband and I booked the 2 hour highlights tour on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. The visitor center is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. Our tour guide, Christine, was very friendly and super informative. We loved the architecture and history of Taliesin. We now feel compelled to finally visit Robie House in Chicago (where we're from) as we've known about Robie House for decades but sadly never visited. This tour is a gem and I highly recommend the experience.

Love this place. Such an amazing area. We did the highlights tour which started and ended on time. Our tour guide was great, very informative tour and was able to answer everyone’s questions. I’ve been to 10+ FLW properties and this one needs more work than others, but it is always nice to see and experience the architecture.

We did the Estate tour, worth every penny. Our guide Spencer was great! And my 13 year old enjoyed it too. This is a must do experience!

If you're a FLW fan this is a must visit for you. The tour is expensive but is nearly 4 hours and very well done. Our tour guide had an amazing depth of knowledge and enthusiasm that made the 4 hours fly by.

Wonderful visitor's center for Taliesin. Wish I had visited this building when it was the original restaurant. Amazing view of the Wisconsin River. Great gift shop with large and varied product selection. Friendly staff throughout.
