  • ApacheSitgreaves Forest Service are corralling wild horses and selling them at auction where they could be slaughtered . You should really watch whom you support.

  • Highway US 191 goes through the Apache national Forest. It is a winding road with lots of turns and the driving is slow. It is very scenic with lots of great views and many beautiful wildflowers

  • There is No Butts about it. Keep all Butts in your car including your Cigarette Butts to protect this beautiful forest of Arizona. The last picture is what could happen if you throw your butts out. It's so beautiful up here. Amazing Scenery. It's really breath taking. #KeepArizonaForestGrowning
  • Went at the end of May, and it got pretty cold at night, so bring extra blankets when camping. The roads here can get really bumpy so make sure you have a spare tire, just in case. But overall great place to go camping and really beautiful.
  • The little spot I stayed at was absolutely amazing, stunningly beautiful, and so quiet. I could hear the coyotes all over the meadow. The stars were just off the charts beautiful with no artificial light to mess it up. I highly recommend the little free spots. Great for peace and relaxation.
  • Make no mistake about these are beautiful lakes, and scenery. But for 20 bucks I would not go back, the road to Christmas lake was nothing less the a nitemare to say the least. The road was washed out, deep holes and water running across, very ruff road. I have some rattles and sqeakes, I didn't have when I started. Its a shame I couldn't camp there's. Nice to do once needs road work big time.
  • Lots of snow, we went Jan 1st. I'd suggest finding a spot where you can actually get out and play with the snow since a cop did show up and told us we weren't allowed there. I also loved how my maternity pictures in the snow came out here
