  • Came here just for the casino for the first time and it was a nice experience. The dealers we're friendly and also helpful in teaching the games. The servers however were missing and only a few around so catching drinks can be tricky. Overall nice spot that's not too crowded to come to.
  • The casino is a great place to gamble. You earn points quick and the machines seem to be a little looser than the other casinos. The food court has some good food but there's no nice restaurants and the few fancy ones are just outrageously expensive. Besides the casino, there's really nothing else to do. It's not really a destination. The neighborhood is very sketchy but they have a lot of security. The staff is friendly. I never stayed at the hotel so I can't comment on that. I do enjoy the casino. I just wish there was more to do there.
  • Nice rooms, clean, comfortable bedding, nice amenities. Only problem was trying to find the entrance as the doors at the drop off area were locked. Had to walk through the garage and through the casino to get to the hotel lobby to check in. Not handicap accessible at all. A really long walk!
  • First time staying at any MGM location. I chose to drive from staten island to Springfield instead of Atlantic city. I really like the design of the hotel. The room was clean and spacious. My only issue was that there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. The basketball hall of fame was only a five minute drive away. And the Dr Seuss museum is also nearby. We only stayed for two nights so didn't get a chance to check all the nearby attractions. Definitely will come back.
  • Room is quite small but for the price, it’s fine. Love the bathroom. Housekeeping left some things in the bathroom from the previous occupant, fixed right away. The walls are paper thin. We heard a couple fighting in the middle of the night and had to call the front desk because it sounded pretty bad. The pool was out of service and the spa apparently hasn’t opened since 2020. I wish they told you this prior to booking. There is a small keurig machine. Refrigerator in your room with an added fee. I don’t understand the daily $20 resort fee because this isn’t a resort if you can’t use the pool and spa. There isn’t any shopping for the exception of a jewelry store and a “essentials” store with snacks and ugly sweatshirt and sweatpants. The Chandler Steakhouse was amazing. Not a lot of dining options either. Mostly fast food style stuff.
