The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum is a museum in Springfield, Massachusetts, United States located in the William Pynchon Memorial Building, which until 2009 housed the Connecticut Valley Historical Museum. The museum opened in June 2017. It is located on the Quadrangle along with the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden and other museums.

    It is a great place for kids of all ages. There are all sorts of fun activities for the young children and plenty of nostalgia for adults.

    So I will admit that I was the only adult there without a child. But I love Dr Seuss and have been a fan my entire life. The museum is geared probably more toward kids, but the information, both on.....  more

    What a great place! So much fun for the kids, the art and hands on experiences are fantastic. Adults and older kids... Check out the history section upstairs and see original sketches, letters and artifacts from the man himself. The museum is just one part of the Springfield Museum campus. If you're taking the kids, be sure to spend some time in the science center.

    We had a great time. There's a little bit of something for all ages. We didn't have any kids in our group and still really enjoyed it. Admission also includes admission to 4 other museums that are right there. It was a great value.

    We arrived just a short before closing but they allowed us to go through. I would love to go back to check out more details. Many handwritten notes from "Dr. Suess". Donation requested for entry.

    Our granddaughter loved it. She was proud that she knew most of the characters. She admitted that she's probably a bit too old (8) but she didn't care. The staff were very pleasant a d helpful.
