Napa Valley's oldest continuously operating winery, Beringer Vineyards was established in 1873. Now on a World Heritage site, the winery burst onto the world scene in 1939, when Hollywood stars Clark Cable and Carole Lombard visited. The first of California's wineries open to the public after Prohibition, the winery continues to draw wine enthusiasts from around the globe. Join the winery's daily "legacy" tour for a look at traditional methods of winemaking. Visitors must be over 21 to take the tour, which includes tastings from barrels as well as bottles. Enjoyed our self tour. $30/person and it includes wine! Beautiful area and wine cave history was interesting. Very friendly staff more than willing to answer any questions. Enjoyed our walk around the property. Long history and is on National Historical Registry.

Stumbled upon this winery while we were in between other winery visits and I’m so happy about it. SUCH a warm welcome from when we step foot on the property. We did the $20 self tour and I highly recommend it. The property is plenty big and lots to see. Would love to come back and do a tasting/guided tour next time.

booked a tasting here on the porch mostly for the name. Our host was nice and we ordered a cheese board with the tasting. honestly that was the best part. They didn't let you go around at all in the house and we walked around the grounds a little. I didn't really like any of the wine I tasted. It was like $20-$25 wine and priced at like $150. crazy sorry. We had much better experience at other smaller wineries.

Last minute stop while passing through on a family trip. Looking to stretch legs and see one of the wineries. Picked it thinking it would be a family friendly place . It did not disappoint. Staff was friendly, adult members not tasting were charged accordingly. Beautiful immaculate grounds with plenty of room to walk and enjoy everything without being more than a leisure stroll to any part of it.

Enjoyed a tasting in the Rhine House Salon - what a beautiful house. I could have spent the afternoon exploring this house. Jose was a great host and we opted for a nice bottle to take home and enjoy over the holidays with family. It was a rainy Monday afternoon so we had the grounds to ourselves. We explored the caves and really enjoyed taking our time and appreciated the holiday decorations throughout- very cool.
