Coastal Kayak Charters, St. Pete Beach

We went out this morning on the 9:30am guided tour and it was truly amazing! Our guide Ross was so much fun and so upbeat, he made sure that we were all having a great time! I booked this outing last minute, (the night before) and they were so accommodating to make sure we were able to go out today. We plan on returning to Coastal Kayak Charters for future adventures! Super experience! Doug did a great job checking us in and making us feel welcome. Brian and Ross were our guides. They did an excellent job of explaining plants and animals that we should expect to see on our kayak tour. Shell Island was beautiful and we were able to cool off a little and find some neat shells to take home. My family will definitely be back!!

Our tour with Ross from Coastal Kayak Charters as our guide was nothing less that incredibly satisfying. From the booking process to the end of tour foot wash, everything was expertly done. Ross explained everything throughout our family tour. The mangroves were amazing, along with sightings of wildlife with interesting information given by Ross. Osprey, fish. Heron, Bottle-nosed dolphins, and a 4-foot shark were some highlights, along with the ever present comerant birds that followed us in the air, as well as on and, more spectacularly, under the water. The three hour tour was a great way to spend with our family doing moderate activity while enjoying all that nature provides us in this section of Florida. A highly recommended MUST DO when visiting the area.

What an amazing experience. We took a 9 am tour with 2 adults, 3 teens and a 4 year old and had a fabulous time. A majority of us had never been kayaking before. Our guide, Daniel, was the best. He was a great teacher and had us cruising along in no time. He took time to get to know each of us and made sure we were enjoying our time throughout the tour. He was very knowledgeable and very interactive. We can't wait for our next tour.

Great kayaking tour! Our guide Ross was fun as well as knowledgeable. Loved hearing about the marine life, mangroves, and ecosystem within the preserve and around it. Beautiful sites! The mangroves were stunning. This was my favorite excursion on my Florida vacation.
