The soft, white sand and warm waters of St. Pete Beach provide ample opportunities for rest and play. Lie in the sun, splash in the surf, or go for a stroll. The clear water offers great views of the area’s marine life, including starfish and stingrays. Look for dolphins on the horizon. Grab a bite or a refreshing drink at one of several beachfront restaurants. Bringing a parasol is a good idea, as the sun can be very powerful here. • The beach is full of Red Tide, causing rash, breathing difficulties, sore throat. Go to east coast of Forida.

  • The beach is very clean. We were here on a very windy day. We were able to kick back relax and enjoy the 80 degree weather. It was pretty busy, but we weren't sitting on top of our "neighbors".

  • This is a beautiful public beach with a great view. The birds here are *very* brave so watch your snacks and DO NOT FEED THE SEAGULLS. We loved this beach -- traffic was a bear getting to it though and parking was not great. We were able to park in a shopping plaza and walk, but if you have mobility issues that would be an issue. They also have a business on-site that rents chairs and umbrellas (a little pricey) but for out of Towners like us, it was really nice.
  • Great family friendly beach, good pricing on parking and close to many places to shop or eat. Plus I do like the public transportation so close. The water was perfect along with the availability of cabanas. Also got great pics of my mum.
  • Loved it! 😍 other than the homeless guy peeing on the outside of the restrooms...wth, other than that, we were able to see the Sunset and then the Stars quickly after which was amazing. The Lot says it Closes at 8pm , but we were there until 10pm with no issues no tow truck no police checking plates, so your probably good until 11pm which is when they Close the Public Beaches! Great Big Beatific Beach BTW
  • I enjoyed this beach, so much I came back another day. I couldn't give a 5 because I came holiday weekend and the parking is horrible 😫... literally we had to pay a homeowner to park in their driveway bc there wasn't anything available.... surrounding buildings were having cars towed. Easy access to the beach and the sand is nice... the water is clear enough to see schools of fish.
  • Relocated. Back around February, I went to the beach around Holiday, twice. Got bit up with sand fleas. Didn't know until the second time it was from the beach. Not in S. California! Anyways, I asked around if it was that way every where and many recommended this beach. Paid for two hours, changed in their bathroom, and immediately went into water. It was so warm and clean. No waves! Laid out for maybe ten minutes and started burning up. This was in August. I never used sunscreen in California, but here, I had to leave as I got burned quickly. It was very HOT. People just stayed with each other, no loud music, very nice, beautiful day. Then driving home weather changed, drove home through a storm. Looking back, looked like it might hit the beach. IDK, newbie here, just letting others know what might be expected all in one day!
