Very nice and educational. Lots of interesting artifacts and tons of pictures. The funeral details book was neat to see and learn about the huge procession.

Had wonderful time with my president loving child. Staff were friendly. So much information in a small space. We parked in the metered parking lot about 2 blocks from the library beside the steak n shake restaurant.

This is already an excellent museum, and I suspect it's going to get better as it develops. Copious artifacts, nicely displayed, along with videos and interactives, all aim to instill a nuanced appreciation of this underrated president and unfairly maligned general. Grant was at least as instrumental as Lincoln in ushering in the promise of interracial democracy, so his legacy could not be more timely today. I wish I had allowed a bit more time (two hours might be about right).
