It's a bit hard to find, but once you do, it's very interesting wild west history. good place to let the littles run around and get their wiggles out.

Amazing. To see where history was made, it was great. A bit of a drive, but if you love western history, you've got to see this.

The road signage to find this location is pretty good. The roads were in good condition. When I got there a little after 10 a.m., I had the place to myself. There are a series of markers explaining various aspects of the battle, and several wooden poles with 2 viewing tubes in them to see more distant landmarks, and the tubes are placed at adult and child heights. There is a shelter house with a picnic table, and a restroom facility beside the parking area. All in all, this was a nice place to visit.
