I guess as far as a store goes I'd give this 4 stars, but when it comes to cheese tasting I would give it a 2. We were really bummed at the lack of ability to taste all the cheeses. Before buying them we like to know we like it. Only some samples were available and not the ones we would have wanted to try (they had curds and some standard cheeses). The samples that were abundantly available were olive oil and balsamic...which was nice but we were after cheese... We had lunch from the bistro. My sandwich was delicious (truffle grilled cheese) my husband loved his ham and cheese. My daughter said her loaded Mac was pretty good - and my son's club was ok (was a cold sandwich and he didn't realize that's what he was getting). Good stop for lunch, but I'd save your cheese buying for a place you can taste exactly what you want.

We loved this little shop, it has so much to choose from - from cheeses and chocolates to homemade pizzas and dipping sauces. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping out!

Go to cheese shop for Door County visitors. There are much distractions like olive oil, balsamic, locally produced wine and beer, etc. But the main attraction is undoubtedly cheese. My favorites include smoked mozzarella, 2,5, and 7-year old cheddar, havarti with dill, and horseradish and chive cheddar. They also have a nice sandwich shop and ice cream with playground for little children. Prices are reasonable considering its touristy location.

Reynards is totally worth a stop. It has everything. Artisan cheeses, cherry pies, dips, the best fudge, beautiful market. There is a melt bistro, that has gourmet sandwiches and soups all made with their 60+ cheeses that they make in-house. Fantastic staff. Outside there is a playground for kids and a place for pets to walk, picnic tables with umbrellas. We loved it. I had the artichoke and spinach grilled sandwich. Five stars. husband had albacore tuna melt with celery and scallions tossed in dill aïoli and topped with chopped roasted tomatoes. Fantastic. Both were served with a tiny house salad with their house dressing very tangy

Nice little shop to pick up some Door Co and WI staples. Nice cheese selection. Craft brews and distilled products. All kinds of cherries! Can't wait to plop these in a bourbon old fashioned. 👍
