  • I reserved a spot early during the pandemic. Tourism was suspended for over two years and so by the time my trip would have been possible, I couldn't go, so I sold my reservation in January of 2023...

  • How can people sleep at night seeing how awful those animals are treated, don't you fear God??? I just pray that either the abuse stops or there are no more people visiting this place.

  • Breathtaking place. If you're lucky enough to snag a permit, go immediately. And also try out their frybread! It's the perfect recovery item after the 8 mile hike into Supai, and great fuel for the additional 2 miles down into the campground + beyond.
  • Probably the most picturesque of the waterfalls in Havasupai. It can be captured from any of the angles, above on the trail, down below at the picnic area, or from within the nearby caves for a touch of character. With the water so icy blue and gorgeous, it is perhaps one of the most iconic places in the American West.
  • Such a beautiful place. There hike in is easy, the hike out challenging. Definitely hike to beaver falls and explore some of the side canyons off the beaten path. Be cautious when hiking (climbing) down Mooney falls. It's slick and requires some skill and reasonable health to get up and down. But, it is so worth it. The locals are a mix of welcoming lovely people and those that hate the tourist. When camping, watch out for the wildlife and your food. Mice, squirrels, and raccoons are very adept at getting to your food and toiletries. Not sure I would return as there are so many beautiful places to visit, but havasupai was special. The permit is expensive and campground does get busy.
  • Beautiful fall very close to campground, accessible at night. The top of this fall is a perfect place to do star gazing.
  • I never get tired of seeing this beautiful place. I give it thanks every chance I get to come here and sit in it's presence.
