Space Farms Zoo & Museum, Sussex

We had an awesome time at the zoo! We arrived at feeding time so the animals were out and very lively! The tiger and lion were growling, freaked me out! It was so cool! We spent about 4 1/2 hours there. It's certainly an all day thing. Be prepared to walk around. You can bring your own food, there's a lot of picnic tables around, and a bunch of tables to eat at inside! Great place for kids since you can feed and pet some of the animals!

A rustic experience that will keep the family entertained. A nice exhibit/dining area leads the way to the different enclosures this zoo offers, dirt & gravel paths will take you all around the place. There's also lots of benches & picnic areas around the zoo plus a small playground for the kids. I liked the open feel of this zoo, would love to see more interactive stations or 'did you know?' boards, also more signage for paths and enclosures (they do provide you with a map).

I spent the day there with my son's family and it was very enjoyable indeed. It covers a large area with a huge variety of animals, native to America and other parts of the world. There are picnicking areas around the farm as well as a restaurant. There are also very interesting museums dotted around which make it more enjoyable. An excellent day for everyone!

This is a family runned park for almost 100 years! Well taken care of! Beautiful unique animals and friendly environment! We had a beautiful day! Both young and old enjoyed it! The unique museums are also an added benefit! You need aaaallllll day to see all the amazing sights! Antique cars, and old toy museum, old tools and shoes and many more interesting items. An old "General store and post office" with many unique antique items. Also many fascinating stones and rocks! Beautiful picnic grounds as well! Can't wait to go back!

Some of the animals seem to only have one individual of the kind available including lion, tiger, bear, and a monkey. Many, many deer it's like they are breeding deer. Plenty of geese, too! Park and facility was very clean. The museum building had some awesome collections of items. Spent about 2 1/2 hours on a nice day.
