One of the longest continuous sidewalks in the world, Bayshore Boulevard follows the waterfront next to downtown Tampa. The 7.2 km (4.5 mi) long path is wide enough for walkers, cyclists, and joggers to share without crowding. Historical homes and businesses line the path with peach and pink facades and porches. Consider stopping for a meal at the Colonnade, a seafood restaurant along the path that opened its doors in 1934.     This area has changed since last I visited, and I think for the better. Beautiful water with lovely vistas. That alone pleases me but there is much more to do.

    One side has the river... nice. The other has big buildings or a street... nothing much to see and very few places to eat or to rest. Maybe nicer if you go on a bike so you can explore more... on...
