This is a nice area with lots of bars, restaurants, entertainment. It is close to the free streetcar route and is on the water.

Beautiful area! Great for families or couples. Went at a time when it wasn't the best occasion, but this are was a welcome distraction.

Very unique place. Had a lot of fun. Was well attended. The food was good and the variety was great. Would be great if there was more seating but it was just very busy that day. Dogs are welcome.

Excellent open area located on the River. Nice restaurants and bars! The people are very friendly. Open grass for you to sit on or kids to play. Animal friendly. Tables and chairs available for you to sit and enjoy the live music.

I absolutely love to hang out at the Sparkman Wharf! When I work from home, I always stop by to have lunch there. Their food court is great, a lot of options. The place is beautiful, you can see the river while eating. They also promote events, such as pilates. They show the games there as well. It is a beautiful place and it is one of my favorite spots in Tampa.

Sparkman Wharf is a pretty neat place! I’d definitely say it’s a highlight of Tampa if you’re trying to hit some of the better known spots. It’s very similar and reminiscent of Armature Works, another popular Tampa Bay spot. Both of these areas have tons of restaurants, stores, and photoshoot opportunities all within a small complex. But, whereas Armature Works is more indoors, everything at Sparkman Wharf is outside. That being said, it can get pretty toasty going during the hot FL weather, especially in the summer. I’ll definitely be coming back when the weather is cooler. You can get so many different types of food here- tacos, empanadas, smoothies and bowls, chocolate, steaks, and of course drinks. They have a lovely area to sit or play yard games, all along the water with a great view. It’s also super close to the Florida Aquarium, within walking distance so you could double up on a trip. The big issue I found coming here that I didn’t expect was the parking. I’m not sure if they normally are better about this but everywhere we went parking was $25-30… And when I only wanted to visit for maybe an hour or so, I’m not looking to spend even half that. There was some metered parking on the street, but it’s the kind you have to be really lucky to get. Which would keep me from visiting in the future if I can go somewhere with more accessible parking.

Our favorite place downtown to chill, eat or do a little shopping, and it is right on the water. Splitsville offers bowling, video games, food & beverages. Lighthouse is an open air bar that serves pizza. There are several cargo containers serving various dishes with window service, and lots of tables, chairs, umbrellas and more around the grounds. Battery, an upscale restaurant and Jotoro that looks great and has a special on Fridays for Margarita pitchers! Yum!!
