  • Wonderful natural sponges sold here, with knowledgeable owners. We bought three sponges of varying sizes which cost us $43.85 total. Really pleased with the quality and the natural sponges.

  • Looking for great gifts to buy for your love ones? Check out this neat Sponge Factory located in the heart of Tarpon Springs. Great products, great prices, clean location, professional and friendly staffs. Also great parking location. Marina tours near by, authentic Greek cuisine with a touch of Greek culture. Many novelty stores, etc. Must see community. I took plenty of photos, enjoy.
  • Very very cool place. Has also a small place in the back with a video about how collecting and treating sponges started. I thought the sponges were also a decent price compared to the other shops. I recommend visiting here to fo the nice smelly soaps too.
  • Nice gift shop with very reasonably priced items including sponges, shells, bath essentials, and nautical gifts. The owner was extremely nice!
  • If I could give it 0 stars I would, I don't understand these 4 star ratings. This shop is just like all the other ones in the area the only difference is $10 parking, a little video, and a grumpy old man. By the name of this place I thought it would be like a museum type place with some of the old factory equipment inside and a lot more historical plaques here and there and more photos that talks about the history of the areas sponge harvesting and the people who did it. It was an extremely disappointing experience.
  • This is an awesome store. It's $8.00 to park all day so you can explore the area. Tons of sponges. Lots of other items to look at. Hand made soaps and more. Well worth the stop.
