I recommend this tour and the staff and diver are authentic. It is worth the money and it was just plain fun. We got to touch every kind of sponge. The Greek heritage is spotlighted in great detail. See you again Diver Doug and team!!! Thank you

This was a fabulous experience. Captain George engaged the passengers while he shared his extensive knowledge of Tarpon Springs and the sponge diving history. The sponge diving demonstration was entertaining and educational. Definitely encouraging my friends, family, and guests to spend an hour in Tarpon on this historic vessel.

My St. Pete ladies meet up group of 20 ladies, did a day trip excursion with Nicholas Boat Lines. Not only was it a fun day, we learned about the sponge industry, saw dolphins, saw the home that was used in the movie Under the 12ft Reef. Our crew was so much fun. I'd highly recommend anyone looking to go out on a quick half day trip go with this multi generation family run business.

The most amazing tour of the river and a remarkable walk through history of sponge diving! The stories Capt. George regaled we’re fascinating and taught us so much! This tour cost under $20 and it was The BEST thing we did in Tarpon Springs! A must do! Thx Capt. George!

Thank you for a great day. I’ve been on this tour over a dozen times in my life. Everytime someone visited from out of town or country, and at least 1x a year as a day trip. It’s been a while for my own kids though. We enjoyed the educational aspect and kindness of your crew. I was so excited to see the infamous post cards still available. Besides giving a great time, I want to especially thank you for keeping this an affordable attraction. It’s worth every penny and gives Tarpon that special touch to a memorable day.
