Telluride Ski Resort, Telluride

I've skied most of Colorado's ski resorts and a few in Utah. This is the best one I have ever been to. The runs were great and lift lines non-existent. Excellent terrain for all abilities.. Also the scenery is breathtaking if not downright distracting. Just amazing...wow!

This was my first time skiing and I had a great experience. The lessons were super helpful, there were many slopes to ski in and the village had a lot of fun restaurants and other activities. We stayed at the Mountain Lodge which was very comfortable and close to the Gondola. I will definitely visit again

Excellent varied terrain, something for everyone. Well groomed runs, even some black diamond steeps are groomed. The town is charming, the mountain village is cliche Euro Style. Snow is only reliable from March 1st. Do not go earlier. This is the most expensive resort I have ever visited. Ski hire generally poor choices for crazy high prices. Supposed demo skis are virtually all not demo. Ski tickets are $195 perday. Nuts. Although a day ticket with 3 hour lesson is cheaper, ridiculous. Accommodation is crazy expensive. A potentially great experience ruined by rip off prices and unreliable snow.

Telluride is hard to beat. There's no ski resort that can match the lack of lift lines, with the amount of terrain, and the stunning views. Too hard to get to for the average tourist which keeps crowds low, definitely worth the drive. One of the few resorts where I feel like I'm getting my money's worth on lift tickets

Telluride is the most beautiful area in the United States in my opinion. The town is really cool with lots of shops and restaurants and the skiing is some of the best you'll do. Telluride has a nice mix of terrain for everyone. I personally like staying in the Mountain Village area as all of the best lifts and hotels are located within that section. The town lifts are older and slower for the most part. A gondola connects both areas which is really cool as you don't need to do any driving while your there. It's really the best of both worlds as you have a historic mining town on one side then a beautiful man made village on the other side and both are connected to each other. I couldn't recommend a visit to Telluride highly end, it is a bucket list destination.
