Wildwood Regional Park, Thousand Oaks

Great trail with unique surprises along the way! Be warned that it gets a little steep about half way through on the way to the waterfall. Not too bad but definitely bring a bottle of water with you especially on hot days! There is a nice rest spot with seating and shade at the halfway mark which I was surprised came in handy even for me who doesn’t tire easily! If you are anywhere near Thousand Oaks I highly recommend you check this place out! There is parking right at the entrance. People are always coming and going so getting a spot shouldn’t be too difficult.

Amazing trail with multiple routs, of which one is leading to the beautiful paradise fall with a camping area. It is an easy-intermediate level trail, I recommend going there in the evening to wash off all your stress with the nature’s sound and pleasant weather!

Beautiful park for hiking! I was in town on vaca and found this gem. If I lived near I would hike this weekly. I hiked the trail to the falls. In the beginning it was hot but pretty easy. After passing the teepee, the trail descends to the falls, followed by a walk beside a stream, along with some needed shade trees. At a large picnic area I turned around. The trip back was a steeper up hill climb...a nice challenge. Total time was 50 mins at a rigerous pace. There are also alternate trails to be explored :)

Love this park. The waterfall is a great feature, but I enjoy the varying terrain . Lots of trails, differing difficulty. Explore it, see where you end up. Oh yeah, the restrooms are top notch clean

An amazing hiking spot nestled in the mountains of Thousand Oaks. There are multiple trails and the trails are dog friendly. The falls trail has a gorgeous water feature with a waterfall and picnic tables. There is a seating area at the top of the trail with a Teepee and sitting area. There are temporary restrooms in the parking lots and regular restrooms. near the information center. The parking lot can get full on weekend mornings. There are several free parking spots. There are beautiful Vistas so this is a great hike for the morning or later afternoon. When it's sunny so bring water and a hat and sunscreen. Definitely worth the visit.
