Beautiful trail. We enjoyed it thoroughly even though the falls themselves (at the end of the trail) were dry. You should not leave Sequoia National Park without experiencing the beauty of this...

Went with a group of 9 (which included kids from 9-17 years old as well as folks in the upper 40s). Such a beautiful hike that was not difficult, but had amazing views.

This is a relatively easy hike for families. The five year old in our group managed it easily. The falls and the view are beautiful and worth the trip.

Water level was low (mid-July), but still a beautiful hike with stunning scenery. Our bear encounter came courtesy of a few careless hikers who went for a quick dip in the river and left their belongings unattended. We saw them hiding in the bushes while a bear went through their backpacks looking for a snack. For you anglers, a few trout were spotted in the pool at the bottom of the falls.

The hike kicked my butt.. I thought we'd never get there but we'll worth it. It was a 1.5 to 2 hour hike fir me and yes, I'm a bit overweight, but I was determined as I know you are as well. This place is absolutel magnificent!

Hiked the morning of 5/25: went in with multiple jackets and were soon taking them off. The waterfall and river were beautiful. Bring sunscreen! This is the only place on our trip I really needed more sunscreen than I normally put on. Trail was snowy in parts and slick. A few points where the trail wasn’t super clear, usually when having to pass over the creeks. Downed tree over the path in one point that was a bit high to climb over for shorter people. Watch out for the marmots near the waterfall, they’re very bold and I can totally believe they regularly raid people’s bags. Definitely seemed like bear country but the biggest thing we saw was the marmots. If you park near the trailhead expect to put any food or scented items in a communal bear box. No one touched our stuff that we stowed in the bear box.

Great hike in the spring. Snow is still on the ground, rivers are full and roaring. Relatively flat terrain until the last 1/4 mi it gets rocky and narrow.

I call this trail is (easy +) because In a short time hiking in and out but you have everything a little of elevation change, rocky, wet ground, muddy, sand rocks, River and forest, The trail is almost as awesome as the falls, In a little more than a mile and a half, you get incredible views of the Watchtower, Your perspective on the the watchtower changes with every few steps you take, and it’s breathtaking from every angle. The final quarter- mile of the path is fun which traverses rocky slops, in one section you must duck your head as you walk under a ledge, you can walk right to the edge of the falls, choose a rock to sit on and enjoy the pretty of the Mother Nature Will come back again when I’m around there
