  • A nice large winery in North Carolina with beautiful grounds and a stage for music in certain seasons. The wine tasting was good and the staff member very knowledgeable about the wines. My favorite white we had was the petit manseng and my favorite red was the Cabernet Sauvignon. We had to stand around the counter for the tasting, but afterwards were able to take our selected bottle to enjoy the lovely outdoor seating, which is dog-friendly.
  • Very beautiful place but its kinda disappointed not being able to have your kid inside especially when it is 40 degrees outside. The staff told me in a very polite way that the kid could not be inside including my 2 month old daughter ... there was no heaters outside nor anywhere on the property outside ... and when I did talk to the manager she said sorry we do not have them and we are growing.. I do not think that is a good excuse not to have a couple of heaters outside if kids can not come in
  • Despite the popularity of this winery, very disappointing experience. The buildings and site plan are nice and have potential. The tasting experience is what made this disappointing. A disrespectful staff member and mediocre wine prevents us from every coming back. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member behind the counter; however, as soon as she passed us off to another tasting staff member, it went downhill. We almost left before ever tasting the wine. She was rude and condescending. We tried to push past it, but it distracted from the experience. After the tasting, we found the wine was uncomplicated and bland. They charge a premium price for a substandard wine. Their $34 bottle of wine is comparable to a $10 bottle. There's too much at stake for a NC winery to make cheap tasting wine and treat guests disrespectfully.
  • Was really looking forward to enjoying a tasting in your beautiful setting and were told to wait about 10 minutes. After 20, we were still waiting with plenty spaces appearing to be available at the tasting bar. We visited about 3 years ago and your winery was one of our favorites. Today, we left with a bad taste in our mouths from lack of service and headed on to enjoy several other wineries not too far from yours.
  • Good wine, however they have some strange rules against bringing children and outside food. Many other wineries are family friendly and allow picnicking on the grounds. Also the price point is a little high.
