  • A high-quality presentation for children and adults alike, with inter-active, educational displays that leave you with a respect for nature’s power and resilience.

  • The Tillamook Forest Center opened a few weeks ago after 3 years of closure. We’ve passed this way many times an didn’t think to stop by then we did! The appointment was Divine on the Sabbath. Beautiful and peaceful scenery. Educational exhibits inside. We watched the 1933 documentary of the Tillamook Burn and how the forest was regrown from the Lifegiver. $5 per adult suggested donation, cash only. Must visit!
  • An interesting place to visit. Information available about the natural and cultural history and the prehistory of the forest. Interactive exhibits. Various gifts and books available for sale inside. Clean well maintained restrooms. Free maps of areas of the forest. Staff were attentive and friendly. Free entry but they suggest a donation of $5 per person. Plenty of free paved parking. There is a bus stop. Trails are available but the lot is locked up over night. The signs said they close the lot and bridge at 4:00 pm. No cell reception.
  • My entire family had an amazing day. Kids loved the lookout tower, education material, and the hike to some small falls was easy and beautiful in the fall! Will return for sure.
  • An excellent place to learn about Oregon forestry, and Tillamook in general. Love stopping by on the way to the coast. A nice gift shop, a cool bridge out back, and tons of learning material!!! What an awesome place! Lots of parking, wheelchair accessible, and very kid friendly!
  • Beautiful area. I love history and this place is the best to learn about the forest, logging, and the Tillamook Burn. Great exhibits (especially the lookout tower), gorgeous trails around the place, and a shout out to the friendly staff here: You guys rock! Keep up the awesome work!
