Imagination Station (formerly the Center of Science and Industry (COSI)) is a non-profit, hands-on science museum located on the Maumee riverfront in downtown Toledo, Ohio. The facility has over 300 exhibits for "children of all ages."
The museum opened in 1997 as COSI. After tax levies failed in 2006 and 2007, COSI closed its doors to the public on the last day of 2007 due to lack of funding. In 2008, voters approved an operating levy to reopen the facility as The Toledo Science Center. This interim name was replaced by "Imagination Station," which opened on 10 October 2009.

  • This museum was formerly a sister museum to COSI in Columbus (and was labeled COSI back then as well). It has many wonderful interactive exhibits for kids 12 & under. Curious kids over 12 and adults.....  more

  • Absolutely wonderful!!! We were in town for a family reunion - we took our son (8 yrs) to the Imagination Station and we all loved it. The exhibits were all very well done and the variety of topics...

  • We had so much fun when we took our kids and nephew to Imagination Station. I am so pleased that they have the option to purchase a membership because that is exactly what we are going to do. They even had a quiet room in the children’a area if anyone was overstimulated and needed a break. There is food, beverages, a gift shop, indoor & outdoor activities so much to do indoors and even a beautiful view from the inside out. Fun for all ages! :)
  • I went here for the sole purpose of my niece having a good time. I think I might have had more fun than she did. 🤣 Seriously, it was a great experience. We went on a Saturday, so it was a little more crowded than normal. But, on the bright side of that, Saturdays are the cheaper days to go for Lucas county residents. I also suggest that you park in the parking garage. It's decently priced. There's a lot of things to see and do both inside and outside. I could go on and on but I'm sure you get the gist.
  • Great time with my granddaughters, age 8 and 10. They loved the entire visit and learned many new things today. Great summer "field trip". They didn't think they would enjoy themselves there at all. We spent 3.5 hours there learning and having fun!
  • It was fun for the kids and for us we paid $ 54 for myself and my husband and boys 6 and 8!! My daughter was free. It would have been way better if most things weren’t broken. We did have a nice time I just don’t know if we would ever get a membership. My kids loved it.
  • Have a blast every time I go, I brought my youngest 3 and 3 nieces (13,10,7,5,4 & 1) And they all enjoyed every moment! Stayed 3hrs and they wanted to stay longer. Its so much to see, touch and do. They really enjoyed the table where they make a movie with the figurines in the flying room & that slanted room, even though my 5yr old stepped in and instantly flew into the wall they still wanted to go back in! Lol, all in all we truly enjoyed ourselves.
