The O.K. Corral (Old Kindersley) was a livery and horse corral from 1879 to about 1888 in the mining boomtown of Tombstone, Arizona Territory, in the southwestern United States near the border with Mexico.

Despite its association with the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, the historic gunfight did not take place within or next to the corral on Allen Street, but in a narrow lot on Fremont Street, six doors west of the rear entrance to the corral. The lot was between Harwood's home and C. S. Fly's 12-room boarding house and photography studio.
The 1957 film Gunfight at the O.K. Corral made the shootout famous and the public was incorrectly led to believe it was the actual location of the altercation. Despite the historical inaccuracy, the corral is marketed as the location of the shootout, and visitors can pay to see a re-enactment of the gunfight. The corral is now part of the Tombstone Historic District.

  • We all really enjoyed learning about the infamous gun fight - both sides, the actors were very entertaining and involved the crowd. Enjoyed seeing it come to life!

  • The shoot out show was great! A fun and entertaining reenactment for the whole family. Plus you can see the spot where the actual historical gunfight occurred. The actors are willing to take...

  • Tombstone is known for this very spot, so it's obviously a must if you come to Tombstone. It's free to go inside the main shop but you have to pay $10 per person to explore the back courtyard and stables and the main draw: the staged gun fight. There are a few areas in Tombstone to see staged gun fights, but this one is by far the most recommended based on the fact that it's the OG and happens at the actual O.K. Corral, even the locals stated that. Go early that way you don't miss the show, as they are known to sell out especially during peak seasons and weekends. The gun fight is about 20 - 30 minutes and very entertaining, audience participation is encouraged like applauding the deputies and booing the cowboys for an added comical touch and they all have fun with it. Pictures with the actors are welcomed after the show which always makes the little kids go crazy. The staff inside the store are fun to talk with and very nice. Also, for fans of the movie (which I'd assume most everyone visiting Tombstone to begin with probably are), there are some props inside the store to read up on and admire. Prices inside the gift shop are on par with most everything else in Tombstone, though they do also have some exclusive merchandise being that they're the actual O.K. Corral. Overall, very fun and highly recommended.
  • Great show. Always a blast. The actors do a superb job of being fun and interactive. Been several times and always see the OK Corral reenactment. Good for all ages. Tickets are $10 and can donate to the actors at the end, well worth it. Can't wait to return.
  • We came here in February 2023. Perfect weather and great experience. Kids loved the show aged 12 and 15. They also loved looking at all the old things from the 1800’s.
  • My absolute favorite experience in Tombstone. It's why we came. And we didn't leave disappointed. For $10 you can buy a ticket to the reenactment show, which was great. Unlike the movies that have portrayed this event time and again, the reenactment really gives you a feel for how fast and chaotic the gunfight behind the OK Corral would have been. Support the local actors making this possible by donating to their starving artists fund at the end of the show!
  • The show was delightful!! A little cheesy, but so much fun. Lots of interaction, humor, and over all well done. I loved Virgil's actor, he was spot on! They give you an opportunity to take pics with the cast after and they are all very nice gentlemen. Its fun, we enjoyed ourselves
