  • It was chilly and windy the day we visited. Tulips and hyacinths were blooming and smelled lovely. Found a hydrangea bush that had dried flowers that I found pretty. Obviously the rose garden was out of season and the fountains were not running. There still was a little ice over the area that has fish.
  • Loved coming back here. One of my favorite parks in Topeka. Wish I could've gone to the zoo the following day with my Son's family, but was not able to join them. Took some pics while at the park. Very interesting architecture in this place. Love looking at other peoples ideas in buildings. And of course the landscape is nice here as well. Can't wait for Spring! :0
  • This is a delightful large park with tons of family fun. This trip we went to the zoo located in the park for spring break and was delighted to see dino alive with animatronic dinosaurs mixed in with the zoo animals. It was a fun learning experience for our group.
  • Grew up in this park. Now my kids like to go when we visit. Some of the old school equipment is still there, which is pretty awesome. If you're looking for the metal roller slide you won't find it! The stuff in its place is pretty good though! Clean throughout. Lots of picnic areas.
  • Was hard to have a 2 year old and a 6 year old together. The little kid things were really far from the bigger kid pieces so I had to just watch the 6 year old from a couple hundred yards away while pushing the toddler in the little swings. The structures were neat but had some water puddles in them. They were concrete that the 6 year old had a spill on which could have been pretty bad.
