    This is a nice place to kill some time. Kids enjoyed the play area and the train. Gift shop was being renovated. Not really that big but big enough to keep children entertained.

    It's closing down September 4th for remodeling for the next 18 months I believe. We went for an hour didn't expect it to be so in depth. Absolutely amazing I suggest that you take 2 to 3 hours to go through the entire thing cuz we didn't have a chance to go through half. But I must say my favorite part homage to all of our fathers out there definitely the Santa Fe train!

    They appear to be gearing up for the remodel. As the admission is free, the gift shop is empty, and some of the exhibits are closed off.

    One of the best museums I have ever been to. Glad I stopped in here. Edit: 5 years later and I still feel the same way. My favorite museum and I've been to a lot of them in so many states. Sad to learn that it will be remodeled and done over but I would be excited to see it when it gets finished. Great facility and great experience. Highly recommend!

    Great museum! Easily spend a whole day here. The archives are full of really helpful and enthusiastic staff members. The site itself is beautiful.
