  • Great hiking trail! We took our kids (13 and 10) and our two dogs up in June. Took about two hours. It is a tree covered hike most of the way up. We had a nice day for it!

  • Many of the trails in the Adirondack Park are similar. Rocks and high roots, all making it necessary to nbn watch every step. Would classify this trail as moderate light. Some steep sections, but...

  • My wife and I started the Tupper Lake Triad by hiking the Coney Mountain Trail. It took us about an hour to get to the top of the mountain. It is not a difficult hike, but I would recommend good...

  • Said to be one of the 'easier' hikes in the Adirondacks, we made it up in about an hour and a half, and made it back down in about an hour (we're in our 30s, out of shape, with some joint injuries, so some people would move faster than us). It's totally worth the effort. Definitely wear good hiking shoes or boots, do not wear Sandals or shoes that you can't walk a couple miles in. Bring water, especially if it's summer. We needed it and it was only 72*f. The views at the top were SPECTACULAR
  • Coney Mountain was a short and fun hike. It's a little over a mile to the top, and the elevation gain isn't staggering. I would consider this an easy hike. The peak is nice and open with plenty of space and lovely views. While I was up there we heard other hikers saying it was a Party Peak for the local kids, but you'd never be able to tell as there was no trash or sign of parties. Overall, a lovely mountain that you could hike for breakfast.
  • Quick 1.1 mile hike up. Some parts a little steep but not bad at all. Well maintained. Stunning view at the top. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and have the time.
  • There's a common theme in these reviews that I agree with fully. Fairly short and easy hike that pays off with a great view! I recommend this mountain to people all the time!
  • Wow! A gem. 360 views. Easy (for Adirondacks) trail 2 miles round trip.
