Founded in 1983 by Oregon native Jim Bernau with the dream of creating world-class Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley Vineyards has grown from a bold idea into one of the region’s leading wineries, earning the title “One of America’s Great Pinot Noir Producers” from Wine Enthusiast Magazine. All the Estate vineyards have been certified sustainable through LIVE (Low Input Viticulture and Enology) and Salmon-Safe programs. In 2007, Willamette Valley Vineyards became the first winery in the world to use sustainable cork stoppers certified by the Rainforest Alliance and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) standards. Willamette Valley Vineyards commitment to sustainable practices in the vineyard and winery is based on the convictions that as stewards of the land they have an obligation to walk as softly as possible, and that winegrapes grown naturally in healthy soils produce superior quality wines. Willamette Valley Vineyards also produces wines under the Griffin Creek and Tualatin Estate labels.

  • I get better food prep at diners, cafes, and coffee shops. I have food allergies. I tell the server up front what they are and ask if the kitchen can prepare a meal for me. The server answered yes...

  • Absolutely spectacular! An amazing experience. Since we stayed in their on-site suite, we enjoyed several days and evenings at the property. The restaurant serves outstanding food, the wines are great and the staff is first class. The Blending Experience is a must for any wine enthusiast. Plus unforgettable views. Thanks to Veronica for the truly special Blending Experience and Sandy, Jessica and Leslie in the tasting room and a special Thank You to Sara and Carol for the wonderful hospitality. Can't wait to return.
  • We got engaged at Willamette Valley Vineyards!!! The staff was so wonderful. We had a tasting and pizza before he popped the question out on the patio. It was so beautiful! My love picked the perfect place to propose. PS: The chicken bacon pizza is so delicious. We enjoyed all the wine, too! Go get you some!
  • Had an amazing time! Bradley gave us an awesome tour and excellent service. They were on top of my gluten allergy. Plenty of gluten free options including desert. The food was delicious. The wine was wonderful. Will definitely be back!
  • We've been longtime club members for years but never done a cellar tour. I brought my dearest sister from England with me for my first time, she has never been to a wine tasting. We were both impressed by our guide Brian, he was the most perfect person for our group. He had the ultimate patience with our kids and their endless questions, was cheerful and energetic enough to keep up with us. Thank you for such a perfect day.
  • We were a party of eight and our tour guide, Bradley, was awesome and very knowledgeable. We saw the oak barrels with wine in storage, the processing room and the bottling machine. We tasted a few good wines and even bought a few bottles to take home. Supper great time and a absolutely beautiful place. We will definitely be back!
