Mast General Store, Valle Crucis

This is a great Mast location. It has the typical excellent selection of candy, clothes, camping equipment, outdoor gear, and more in a historic and rustic site. Plus the community park etc. adds to the scene. A definite must visit when in the Valle Crucis area for anyone interested in some unique wares and a superb shopping experience.

Totally worth the drive. Incredible turn of the century store with a hip country vibe. Quality clothes, wares and candy and even a functioning post office. A North Carolina standard of mercantile excellence in Sugar Grove.

Absolutely love visiting the Mast General Store Annex. They have a great selection of clothing and accessories. We can’t forget to mention all the candy and canned goodies they have. It’s the perfect place to shop for yourself and find a special gift for someone. We love visiting and just enjoying the sights outside the store and the wonderful things inside the store.

Always a nice place to stop! They're one of the few places in town that carries the Blenheim hot ginger ale (one of my favorites) & I often stop for a drink & some candy if I pass by during the week. The staff is kind & helpful & I've never had a bad experience. The store feels a little small & can get crowded on the weekends or during peak tourist seasons but it's worth stopping in to see the historic building!

I love Mass general store it's a wonderful place to take visitors that come up to see us from time to time. They have really cool clothes, trinkets, and an awesome candy store give it a try I'm sure you'll love it as much as we do. Also their service is quick and expedient they always greet you in a very helpful trying to find that specific item that you're looking for.
