  • Great park for boating or hiking. Great for dogs as well. Nice restrooms. Number of paved paths for those needing them. Only small drawback is a slope of soft sand going down to the water if you...

  • I loved this place, first time here and absolutely loved it, Its clean and not to crowed and loved that there is public bathrooms and even a picnic area to BBQ if you wanted.

  • I rather enjoyed my experience at this park/nature trail. There is something for everyone here. The staff are friendly and helpful. The paths are spacious, in good repair, and kept free of debris by competent park personnel. There are climbing structures, picnic tables, event areas, a beach volleyball/badminton/net sports area, scenic viewpoint, and nature galore along the mighty Columbia River. The trails are accessible and accommodating. As the pathways are primarily in open areas, there is not a lot of shade, so be sure to put on extra sunscreen, maybe wear a hat, and stay hydrated
  • Frenchman's is a really nice place to fish when it's not busy. Lots of beach real estate, but during peak season it's way too crowded and there are too many swimmers, jet skis, and boats. It's a great park to take the family, there's a couple covered patios, a playground, volleyball courts and hiking trails. The bathrooms are nasty and mosquitos are abundant but those are the biggest complaints.
  • Nice park. Small playground, valley ball courts, small sandy beaches, bathrooms, picnic tables, charcoal grills, paved pathways and views for days.
  • This park is on the Columbia River and is a great one. There are bathroom facilities with outdoor showers and a playground for kids. There is also a running trail that is paved and beach on the Columbia. There are also over six sand volleyball courts. If you have a family with younger children it’s best to come in the earlier hours of the day because in the afternoon the teenagers and older crowd start showing up and don’t use the best of language. Also if you’re coming out here to enjoy the sunshine and warmer water it’s best if you come mid June to first of September. For the most part it is pretty clean and the current isn’t too strong. Please note that about 12 feet from the shore there is a nice drop where the water gets deeper.
  • Beautiful park, visited Tuesday 3/30/21. Probably about 25 to 50 other vehicles in the park when I arrived. The fee area is closed down right now. Most were unmasked or social distancing. Hiked 2.47 miles with 24ft elevation gain, most trails are paved, but there is also some gravel trail as well as beach trail. There are 3 parking areas here, all with handicap parking available. The park is handicap accessible. There are three bathrooms areas available; the one I checked was clean and well kept. Didn't see any homeless people here. Great Beach's. There is a camp host on site at the first parking lot. Also at the first lot there is a playground, picnic tables with grills and the Langsdorf picnic Shelter (I believe it's available for reservation online). Every parking area has great beach access. There is also a picnic Shelter available at the last parking area. Lots of picnic tables with grills and benches available throughout the park, as well as coal dumping pits. Plenty of fishing going on at the beach as well as in the water in this area. Great place for young children.
