  • The recently developed Vancouver waterfront has great paved trails for walking and biking. The promenade is wide and there is plenty of room for everyone. It looks like there are spots for buskers...

  • Love walking along the waterfront, watching the float planes leave, and looking across the water at the mountains the hour before sunset.

  • The waterfront boardwalk is a very well kept up area. The ground, walkways, and shrubbery are free of debris and misc. Garbage. I feel that it is a very kid friendly and safe space to go for a stroll. There are also plenty of restaurants, bars, and coffee stops all along the path to help you resolve any craving that you may have.
  • This is a beautiful place to take a stroll especially in the summer. A perfect place to watch the sunset. It is kids and pets friendly as well. There are a lot of fine dining options by the waterfront. These include amazing taphouses as well as wineries. There is a huge public parking lot right in front of the waterfront so you don't have to drive around to find a spot. Parking rates are very cheap as well: $2/hr up to 6 hours.
  • Beautiful. Very hip. Lovely cantilevered viewpoint over the river. Very pretty. I especially like that engraved into the structure are engineering details about how the cantilever is constructed, but then I'm an architecture nerd. Restaurants are nice but can get very busy and parking can be tight.
  • Came here after they remodeled. There's a nice water artsy play area for kids and adults alike that doesn't look too kiddy. Will get photos next time! And the summer ambience is nice, especially when their summer concerts are happening. This place is perfect for a nice stroll and chill time next to the river with a view. Only caveat is limited, more pricey restaurants to choose from.
  • The Vancouver Waterfront is really something. As a Vancouver resident, I've loved seeing it come together over the past few years. There is a great assortment of restaurants there, and I still haven't tried them all. The river walk is beautiful and is becoming one of my favorite places to go for a walk or run. What a great addition to our city.
