    This trail reminds us of growing up in Colorado in the 1960's and seeing amazingly intact old mines. We love the whole area and all the information signs telling the history of the different mines.

    The elevation is above 10,000 feet so if you aren’t acclimated you may get a little winded, but the trail itself is an easy 2-mile loop hike. There were multiple stunning old mines with interesting.....  more
